      Training focus on examples of common technology demands and how SAP NetWeaver meets those demands. The goal is to give you an integrated understanding of NetWeaver functionality and how all the component work together to provide an integrated business solution to technology demands

     - Working with iViews, Pages, Worksets and Roles
     - Business Packages
     - Positioning Portal Content Development Tools
  • Security aspects (LDAP Authentication/ user management)
  • Knowledge management:
     - Content Management
     - Search and Classification (TREX)
  • Collaboration
     - Virtual Rooms
     - Real-Time Collaboration (RTC)

Part - 2  Portal Web Dynpro Development

  • SAP NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI)
  • Web Dynpro development with the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio
  • Web Dynpro Controller
  • Context definition
  • Context access at runtime
  • UI elements
  • Messages and multilingual capability
  • Input help
  • Debugging Web Dynpro applications
  • Dynamic changes to context and UI
  • Using models using adaptive RFC (BAPI, Web Services, Beans)

 

SAP NetWeaver ( PI / XI )

Provides open integration technologies that support process-centric collaboration among SAP and non-SAP components.

Pre-requisites:

     1. SAP and /or Java (Intermediate level)

     2. EAI and Middleware knowledge and Networking - Basics

Total Course Hours  :  40

Part - 1  Exchange Infrastructure(XI) Concepts and Development

  • Architecture of SAP Exchange Infrastructure
  • System Landscape - Business Systems and the Integration Directory
  • Configuration and runtime behavior of an asynchronous scenario
  • Runtime Workbench
  • Connecting back-end systems using adapters (especially file adapters, IDoc adapters, and RFC adapters, B2B)
  • Business Process Management
  • SAP XI Security
  • Defining message interfaces
  • BPM fundamentals and architecture
  • Proxy generation in ABAP and Java
  • Using proxy runtime for ABAP and Java
  • Runtime, Runtime workbench

Other Support

  • 2 months of SAP remote access with new version (EP 6.0 and XI 3.0 with all adapters) with fully connected system
  • Full Course material including certification guides
  • Assignments, quiz and mini projects
  • Tips and Tricks for SAP Certification and Interviews
  • Students are allowed to attend classes conducted in next batch if they are unclear in any of the topics
  • Students can get extended access by paying nominal monthly fee.                      

Assumptions

  • Classes will not be held on long weekends unless a request made by majority of Students and Instructor
  • Lunch break is from 12 - 12.45 PM
  • Additional breaks will be scheduled in AM and PM necessary
